We hold the belief that the bond between a horse and its rider is built upon trustworthiness and clear communication from the start of their partnership journey. Originated by Ram Bar Aviv, whose equestrian experience ranges from childhood rides to achieving national titles in various horse breeds such as Thoroughbreds and Arabians -– our facility provides a complete range of coaching and animal care amenities:
Extensive Expertise: As a jockey and farrier ourselves, we ensure that the training programs are based on your horse’s characteristics and individual needs to achieve specific athletic objectives.
Physical Fitness: We ensure your horse’s health and happiness by looking after its diet and fitness as well as providing mental stimulation and regular exercise routines.
Western Disciplines: Whether you are looking for therapy sessions suitable for riders of all skill levels or traditional western disciplines, we provide interactive and secure experiences that build confidence. Our varied riding styles and activities offer a blend of the American West and cowboy culture that is known worldwide.
Top-notch Facilities: Expansive arenas and custom trot tracks cater to the training needs of each horse in an environment crafted for performance. And, by offering world-class facilities, amid all the training and hardwork, we ensure their health and well-being remains our top priority.
Training Plan: A comprehensive training plan is essential, tailored to the horse's individual needs, age, and racing style. Gradual Increase in Exercise: Start with slow-speed conditioning (walking, trotting) to build muscle and reduce injury risk.
High-Speed Conditioning: We gradually introduce our racehorses to faster speeds and longer distances, focusing on stimulating anaerobic ATP production.
Interval Training: At Ram Bar Aviv, we incorporate interval training to enhance aerobic capacity and muscle adaptation, with short rest periods between workouts.
Transition to the Racetrack: Ensuring that our racehorses are familiarized with the racetrack environment, including the starting gates and running with other horses, is one of our top priorities.
Regular Assessments: Our staff is well-trained to monitor the horse's fitness levels and adjust the training program accordingly.
Gentling: It’s vital to gentle the horse to make it pliable and rideable by teaching basic commands and handling before commencing their intense training.
Nutrition and Balanced Diet: We provide a diet rich in carbohydrates, fats, and protein to meet the horse’s energy needs.
High-Quality Forage: We ensure horses have access to high-quality forage (hay and grass) to provide them with essential fiber and promote digestive health.
Additional Energy Sources: Feeding racehorses grains (oats, barley, corn) for additional energy, especially before demanding workouts or races is essential. We never compromise on it, and even add fat supplements (oils like canola or linseed) to boost energy reserves without increasing starch intake.
Minerals and Vitamins: We make sure to include essential minerals (calcium, phosphorus, sodium chloride, magnesium) and vitamins (C, E) to their diet to support bone health, muscle function, and overall well-being. After intense training or in hot weather, to replace lost minerals and maintain hydration, we give them electrolyte supplementation.
Water Management: We ensure constant access to clean, fresh water to prevent dehydration, which is crucial, especially during training and races.

"When I initially encountered Ram Bar Aviv for the first time and introduced him to my Arabian stallion named Sultan, who was quite difficult to handle while being ridden and tended to get easily frightened even at minor disturbances or noises around him. Ram displayed patience as he carefully assessed Sultan's various fears and concerns before devising a personalized desensitization plan that included a blend of groundwork exercises to build confidence in Sultan and introduce him gradually to unfamiliar surroundings. Witnessing the transformation of Sultan over six months was truly remarkable. From a skittish horse to a composed and focused athlete with improved fluidity in his movements and instant responsiveness, towards commands. All while solidifying his trust in me."Ram’s understanding of how horses move and his expertise in horseshoe craftsmanship are evident in every encounter with him; his heartfelt concern for both the horse and its rider shows clearly. Because of his commitment to his work and the effort he puts into it day after day, Sultan and I have been able to not do well in dressage competitions but also relish our time riding together without any worries."
"I took my Quarter Horse named Blaze to Ram after dealing with years of challenging behavior from him. After a few weeks of working with Ram and his effective training methods that involved clear instructions and positive encouragement, Blaze started responding enthusiastically to all my commands. Ram’s patient guidance not only enhanced Blaze's skills in the arena but also deepened the connection between us. I've learned from skilled trainers before, but what sets Ram apart is his all-encompassing approach that prioritizes both mental well-being and physical fitness."
"Ram is truly exceptional. My horse went from being nervous, to performing well in a short period of time!”
